On your first day, prepare for an exhilarating Night Safari on a private concession within Kruger National Park. Witness the captivating nocturnal activities of the park’s inhabitants while enjoying sundown drinks.
Day two offers a full day of adventure. Begin with coffee and tea, followed by a Full-Day Open Vehicle Safari in Kruger National Park. Your guides will make stops for breakfast at one of Kruger’s rest camps and lunch at another, allowing you to enjoy the park’s beauty and curio shopping.
On your final day, start with coffee and tea before embarking on a Morning Safari. Your guides will make a breakfast stop at one of Kruger’s rest camps, providing more opportunities for wildlife sightings.
Transfers to and from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport are included, ensuring a hassle-free journey.
Enjoy two nights of quality accommodation at Umbhaba Eco Lodge or, if fully booked, Hazyview Sun. Both lodges are conveniently located within a 15-minute drive of either Numbi or Phabeni gates. Expect comfort, air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, and Traditional meals.
Your package includes 2 Breakfasts, 2 Dinners, and 1 Lunch, as per the itinerary. Traditional African meals are served at dinner.

Day 1: Transfer from Johannesburg & Sunset / Night Safari
(Lunch & Dinner included)
Your safari adventure begins with a convenient pickup. Guests will be collected from various lodges and hotels within a 5 km radius of OR Tambo International Airport between 6:30 am and 6:45 am, and from the OR Tambo International Airport shuttle and bus Terminal between 6:45 am and 7:00 am. Departure is at 7:15 am.
If you’re flying into Skukuza Kruger National Park or Kruger Mpumalanga International Airports, our Kurt safari Guide will collect you at no additional cost. Please confirm your pickup details the day before the tour by contacting online@kurtsafari.com.
Upon arrival at our lodge in Hazyview between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm, you’ll have time to relax, unpack, and enjoy a light lunch. Afterward, take a leisurely swim or explore the beautiful Lodge and walking trail.
At approximately 15:45 pm, we depart for a Sunset / Night safari in Kruger National Park, returning to the lodge at around 20:00 pm for a delightful dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day 2: Full Day Open Vehicle Safari in Kruger National Park
(Breakfast & Dinner included – lunch at your own expense)
We start early, with safaris commencing before sunrise. The name Mpumalanga translates to “the place of the rising sun,” and it’s the first province in South Africa to witness sunrise. This is the most exciting time of the day when you never know what to expect. After a short drive to the park, we enter the gates, and your guide will lead you to the best areas for wildlife sightings, including the Big 5 and plains game.
The lodge will provide breakfast packs, and after about 3 hours, your guide will stop for breakfast, a bathroom break, and a chance to enjoy some coffee. The safari continues, taking you through different eco zones within Kruger, each offering a unique range of wildlife. We visit rivers, watering holes, plains, and Bushveld regions.
Lunch will be at a rest camp, where you can purchase your meal, do some curio shopping, or enjoy a cold beer. The guide will then continue the safari, heading back to the lodge, where we arrive around 15:30 – 16:00 pm. It’s time to relax, swim, and savor a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Morning Safari and Transfer back to Johannesburg

On your final safari day, we depart the lodge before sunrise. We’ll have another packed breakfast at one of the rest camps or picnic sites. Your guide will focus on finding animals we couldn’t spot on the previous safaris, with hopes of encountering lions and leopards, which are most active in the early mornings. Kruger National Park boasts 148 mammal species and over 500 bird species, offering plenty to see and photograph.
After a short breakfast and coffee break, we continue with the safari, returning to the lodge around 12 pm. Here, you bid farewell to your guide and freshen up before the journey back to Johannesburg. The shuttle collects clients around 12:30 pm, and we return to Johannesburg OR Tambo shuttle terminal and lodges within a 5 km radius, arriving between 17:00 – 18:00 pm.
Important Note: Clients departing from OR Tambo International on the last day should avoid booking flights earlier than 20:00 pm for Domestic and 21:00 pm for International flights.
