We leave the busy city and take a leisurely, scenic drive to the town of Hazyview, where you’ll be staying for the next few days.
After arriving at the lodge, there’s time to settle into your room before having a light lunch on the terrace, followed by a swim or a wander along one of the lodges peaceful walking trails that wind through the property.
As the afternoon stretches out and the heat of the day begins to cool off, at 15:45 pm, you’ll leave the lodge for a sunset-to-night safari in the Kruger National Park.
Watching as the sunsets and the nocturnal animals begin to go about their night time movement, is a riveting experience.
By 20:00 pm, you’ll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.

With the air cool and the aroma of coffee giving you the energy to get going, we set off for the Kruger National Park.
The morning hours, especially those just before the sun is fully up, are about the best time to have a game drive.
Your experienced guide knows all of the best places to drive, and they’ll take you to lesser-known watering holes and the best spots for catching sight of Africa’s Big Five as they begin their morning activities.
After a few hours enjoying the most incredible wildlife sightings, we’ll stop for breakfast, which will be a lodge-prepared pack. Though the break is not long, there’s more than enough time to stretch your legs, sip a rich cup of coffee, and soak in the morning sounds of the savannah.
As the day warms, we continue deeper into the southern Kruger, passing meandering rivers, sunlit plains, and iconic bushveld.
By lunchtime, we’ll arrive at a rest camp, where you can enjoy a meal at your own leisure, browse local curios, or refresh yourself with an ice-cold beer.
The journey back to the lodge winds through more of the park’s unique ecosystems, giving you a last chance to spot the wild before we return to the lodge by mid-afternoon.
Once back, you can cool off with a swim, relax with a drink in hand, and later, enjoy a hearty dinner, the perfect close to the day.
