Ever since I was a child, I held a dream of working in the magnificent Kruger National Park. After completing my schooling, I embarked on a journey with overland safari companies, exploring the diverse landscapes of East and Southern Africa as an overland guide for a period of 6-7 years. Eventually, I found my calling in Kruger, working as a safari guide. That’s when the idea of Kurt Safari Co was born. Initially, I envisioned having just one or maybe two safari vehicles, but as the demand for quality safari experiences grew, so did our aspirations.

Over the past 14 years, Kurt Safari Co has blossomed into a leading safari company in Kruger National Park. While it’s easy to become a large operator, we take immense pride in our TripAdvisor rating, consistently holding the top spot for safaris. This accomplishment is attributed to our exceptional team of safari guides, dedicated office and support staff, modern safari vehicles, and above all, our passion. This unique combination allows us to offer clients high-quality, safe, and affordable safari packages and day trips within Kruger National Park.

At Kurt Safari Co, we employ guides who hail from the Kruger region itself. Our guides possess extensive safari experience, many of them starting as trackers in private reserves and working their way up to becoming top-notch safari guides within Kruger National Park.

Over the years, we’ve fine-tuned a variety of itineraries. We now offer all-inclusive safari packages, including Sunset Safaris, Full-Day Safaris, Panorama Tours, and Morning Safaris. These depart from Johannesburg three times a week and include an overnight stay at the brand-new Umbhaba Eco Lodge, situated right next to Kruger National Park.

Behind the scenes, Kurt Safari Co. boasts a team of professional and highly experienced office staff. We have state-of-the-art booking systems, vehicle tracking systems, and a 24/7 duty phone, in addition to our outstanding guides and an in-house maintenance team. Together, we form a strong, professional team dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for all clients who choose to embark on a safari or holiday with us.
