Day 2: Morning and Afternoon Open Vehicle Safaris in the Southern Kruger National Park

(Breakfast & Dinner Included – Lunch at Own Expense)

The day begins just before sunrise as we head into the park at dawn for an exciting morning safari. Along the way, we’ll stop at various waterholes, scenic viewpoints, and rivers to maximize wildlife sightings. Breakfast will be enjoyed at a rest camp around 11:00 am, after which the safari continues.

In the early afternoon, we return to the rest camp, giving you time to relax, take a refreshing swim, or simply unwind before lunch. Lunch will be at your own expense at the rest camp’s restaurant.

The afternoon safari departs at approximately 3:00 pm, focusing on exploring different areas of the park. This approach enhances your chances of spotting wildlife you haven’t seen yet, offering a well-rounded and unhurried Kruger experience.

The southern region of Kruger is lush, with its rivers and dams creating prime habitats for wildlife. This area is renowned for its excellent leopard and rhino sightings, as well as regular encounters with wild dogs and elephants. Prepare for a day filled with incredible opportunities to connect with nature.

Day 3: Morning Safari and Return to Johannesburg

The day begins early with a final 4-5 hour safari, offering one last opportunity to spot wildlife you may have missed on previous game drives. Be sure to bring your luggage along, as we’ll head south towards Hazyview after the morning safari.

From Hazyview, you’ll board your transfer back to Johannesburg, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours. We recommend planning to stay overnight in Johannesburg for convenience. Alternatively, you may choose to book a return flight from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) or Skukuza Airport, both of which have daily departures around 1:00 pm.

Note: Clients flying out of OR Tambo on the last day should avoid booking flights earlier than 19:00 pm for Domestic and 20:00 pm for International flights.

Prepare to embark on an unforgettable adventure through the heart of the wild, where each day brings new discoveries and memories that will last a lifetime.
