Upon arrival, you’ll meet your professional guide and then set out immediately for the Kruger.

After reaching your rest camp in the Kruger National Park, we’ll enjoy lunch and complete the check-in for your 2-night stay.

The drive to the camp is just a taste of what’s to come, and after some time spent settling into the camp, we’ll be heading out on the trip’s first afternoon game drive, where you’ll be taking in the incredible sights and sounds of the Kruger before returning to camp for a relaxing dinner and a restful evening spent listening to the bats, owls and the distant roaring of lions.

Day 2: Morning and Afternoon Open Vehicle Safaris in the Southern Kruger National Park

The day begins before sunrise, when the sky is just starting to lighten, as we venture into the park for a tranquil dawn safari.

We’ll stop at waterholes, riverbanks, and sweeping lookout points, all perfect places to watch wildlife waking up with the morning light. At around 11:00 am, we’ll stop at a rest camp for a relaxed breakfast before continuing our journey deeper into the bush.

Early afternoon brings us back to the camp, where you can rest during the heat of the day. To make the most of you time in the camp you can cool off with a swim, stretch out and rest in a picnic spot, and just enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the camp. Lunch is at your own cost at the camp’s restaurant.

With the day starting to cool off, at about 15:00 pm we set off for an afternoon safari, heading into new regions of the park.

The southern stretch of the Kruger is shaped by winding rivers and shimmering dams that draw animals of all kinds. This part of the park is especially beloved for its remarkable leopard and rhino sightings, along with frequent encounters with elephants and wild dogs.

In the late afternoon, we’ll return to the camp for dinner and a laidback evening.
