Arriving around midday, you’ll have a light lunch, after which you’ll check into the camp and spend some time exploring the peaceful surroundings before your first game drive in the Kruger National Park.
In the late afternoon, with the heat retreating, you’ll head out into the park where you might see elephants bathing in the river, antelope grazing in amber light, and nocturnal predators beginning to emerge.
You’ll return to the camp just in time for a satisfying dinner followed by your first night falling asleep to the astounding sounds of the park.

Each day will begin with an early wake up call. You’ll leave the camp and just as the first light begins to appear, you’ll start your morning safari.
The park is at its most alive at dawn and you might see elephants moving quietly through the mist, hyenas returning from the night’s scavenging or a pride of lions feasting on a kill.
At about 11:00 am, you’ll stop at one of the rest camps for a relaxed breakfast, and there’s time to go for a walk to stretch your legs, grab a coffee, and watch vervet monkeys playing in the trees before heading out again for more game viewing.
By early afternoon, you’ll return to the rest camp to relax and recharge, taking a break while the park is at its hottest.
Lunch is available at the camp restaurant (own account) and at around 15:00 pm, you’ll set out once more into the Kruger, this time exploring new routes and territories.
Each area of the park is unique and home to something different. Out on the open grasslands you can see herds of zebra and buffalo, and quiet forested roads are just the place to see leopard.
The southern Kruger is especially rich in life, with its fertile river systems and seasonal dams drawing an incredible variety of animals. This region is known for giving travellers some of the best chances to spot leopards and rhinos, along with wild dogs, elephants, and countless bird species.
Later in the afternoon, we’ll return to the camp for dinner and a blissful evening.

The last day of your safari beings with a 4 to 5 hour morning safari, giving you a final opportunity to take in the Kruger and perhaps catch sight of those elusive animals you may have missed before.
You’ll bring your luggage along as the group slowly makes its way south toward Hazyview, winding through the park. With each passing kilometre, the golden savannah begins to give way to gentle hills and lush valleys, giving you a last, lingering look at the world you’ve called home for the past few days.
From Hazyview, your transfer to Johannesburg departs, and it’s a comfortable 5–6-hour journey through Mpumalanga’s changing scenery, where open farmland and highveld plains roll endlessly beneath the sky.
For convenience, we recommend spending the night in Johannesburg before continuing your travels.
Alternatively, if you prefer to fly, Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) and Skukuza Airport (SZK) both have early afternoon departures (around 13:00 pm), providing a faster and smoother return to the city.
