After reaching the rest camp, enjoy lunch before checking in for your 2-night stay. In the late afternoon, set out on your first safari drive, immersing yourself in the beauty of Kruger, before returning for a relaxing dinner and preparing for the days ahead.
(Breakfast & Dinner Included – Lunch at Own Expense)
Start each day just before sunrise with an early morning safari, entering the park at dawn. Along the way, you’ll stop at various waterholes, scenic viewpoints, and rivers to maximize your wildlife sightings. Breakfast will be enjoyed at a rest camp around 11:00 am, after which your safari adventure continues.
In the early afternoon, return to the rest camp, where you’ll have time to relax, take a swim, or simply unwind before lunch. Lunch is at your own expense and can be enjoyed at the rest camp’s restaurant.
The afternoon safari departs around 3:00 pm, with each day focusing on different areas of the park. This approach increases your chances of encountering wildlife you haven’t seen yet and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the Kruger experience.
The southern region of Kruger is lush and abundant with rivers and dams due to higher rainfall, making it ideal for wildlife sightings. This area is particularly renowned for its excellent chances of spotting leopards and rhinos. Additionally, keep an eye out for wild dogs, elephants, and other unique species.
No two safaris are ever the same—each day offers fresh discoveries, thrilling encounters, and unforgettable moments in the wild.
(Breakfast Included)
Your final day begins early with a 4–5-hour morning safari, offering one last chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed on previous game drives. Be sure to bring your luggage along as we head south toward Hazyview after the safari.
From Hazyview, you’ll catch your transfer back to Johannesburg, a journey that will take approximately 5–6 hours. We recommend planning to stay overnight in Johannesburg for convenience. Alternatively, you can choose to book a return flight from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) or Skukuza Airport, both of which offer daily departures at around 1:00 pm.
