Your journey begins with a comfortable scheduled road transfer from Victoria Falls Airport to Old Drift Lodge, where the calm flow of the Zambezi River welcomes you to the wild.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted warmly and shown to your elegant tented suite, complete with panoramic river views, a private deck, and your very own plunge pool, just the place you’ll want to be while watching the African sun set.
As the afternoon settles in, you’ll head out on a river safari along the Zambezi.
Drifting on the tranquil waters, you’ll spend the late afternoon and twilight hours spotting wildlife such as elephants, hippos, and crocodiles along the shoreline.
As the sky explodes in colour, it’s time to enjoy a sundowner and light refreshments before heading back to the lodge for a gourmet dinner under the stars.

After breakfast, you’ll set off on a guided visit to the iconic Victoria Falls, one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders.
Feeling the spray on your face as you take in the roaring cascade from multiple viewing points and capture a couple of photos with your camera is a feeling like no other.
After taking in all the sights and sounds of the falls, it’s time for lunch at The Lookout Café, which sits on the edge of Batoka Gorge, where you’ll gaze out over the rushing Zambezi, far below.
In the afternoon, you can choose from a selection of included lodge activities, such as a walking safari or an afternoon game drive, both of which will give you more chances to enjoy seeing the wildlife and birdlife.
As evening approaches, you and your fellow guests can gather around the fire pit for a pre-dinner drink and trade safari stories before tucking into another outstanding dinner at the lodge.

Waking up to the soft golden hues of sunrise, there is just enough time for a light pre-activity snack before you head out on your chosen morning safari.
You can explore Zambezi National Park by open vehicle in search of buffalo, lion, and elephant, or opt for a guided bush walk where your expert guide will share insights into animal tracking and local ecology.
After returning for a leisurely brunch, the afternoon is yours to enjoy. You might relax in your plunge pool, sip a drink while overlooking the river, or join another optional adventure like a second river safari or a scenic drive through the park.
As the sun dips below the horizon, you can celebrate your last night on tour with cocktails followed by a final delicious dinner in this stunning wilderness setting.

On the last day, you’ll have a relaxed breakfast surrounded by nature, and a few final moments to soak up that African sunshine.. Afterwards, a scheduled transfer will return you to Victoria Falls Airport.
